Nice! How are you finding the car?

Funnily enough around the same time as you I was looking at a 182 that also had similar lights on as yours, ESP, TC, and ABS I believe it was along with the airbag. After a little look into the sellers history it brought up all sorts of questions (strong evidence of potential accident history which was later supported by a hpi check but still denied by the owner).

My old 328 BMW also had all 3 lights on. After 4 ABS sensors and a pump, a new steering angle sensor and tracking corrected sorted the problem so you may be on the right tracks with your replacement part.

You are probably already on there but the Clio Sport website seems very helpful regards problems.

Opted for a 2007 ST fiesta in the end for a little less money, can't help but kind of wish I had kept looking for a 182!

Yeah ive joined cliosport.

I had the car diagnosed by the specialists, needs SAS and then it calibrated to car.

Ive just bought a sensor on cliosport for £18 (makes a change to ebay £60+), so will get them to fit it and calibrate it.

The car is actually ok, the dephaser is abit noisy on start up. Its not due for a while so i can live with a little noise. Its a bit stiff for some of my local roads and speed hump type streets, but its quite solid handling wise.

Fitted powerflex bushed dog bone mount today and adjusted exhaust so its not touching bumper (again).

Dog bone seems to have added a little vibration at idle etc, but worth it to prevent the exhaust moving and hitting subframe (common problem).

Replaced both xenon headlight bulbs, what a job! Your supposed to take bumper off, but i decided to have a go at squeezing my hand in and doing it in situ.

So windy, dark night in the street, bonnet up, i replaced them both. Scratches and cuts, bit of a bar steward job.

Now got 5000k bulbs (old 4300k bulb on ns went pink then blew)

A lovely looking car, and its always good when you solve the problems. It seems the money was well spent with the specialists. Which means you are more likely to trust them in the future with anything as well.

My sister has a 99 Clio, same shape but just a standard 1.2 I think it is. Her insurance ran out and she just left it. She owed me some money, so I'll be getting that soon FOC. The only really dodgy thing apparently is a crack in the windscreen could be a bit of a pain but we will see.

Nice car. More shiny pics needed!

Yeah buying property in the UK is expensive. Me and the gf recently bought a place in Colombia. It hasn't been built yet; you pay a deposit and then monthly instalments and they build the block over two years. Its an apartment block. No fees or surveys as the construction company sort that prior to offering the flats for sale. By the end of two years, when the block is finished (so April 2016 for us as they start building next month) we will have paid off 35%. The other 65% can be paid in full, use a mortgage or however you want to do it. You can also sell it if you want. We have calculated that we can be in a position to clear most of it off and only be a little short in 2 years. Her cousin started doing this about 6 or 7 years ago and now has 5 properties like it. She rents them all out and lives in Italy with her family.

Sorry off topic.

Good luck with the sale though :)

Done, gone and sold!

Lost abit of money overall, but would need money spending on it so cut my losses. Time to find a cheaper daily, might actually be another clio, the 1.5 dci type.
