Hi Dude

May i offer a cheaper and more sensible option?
I just remove the steering wheel centre, and undo the nut.......

seems too simple but it works a treat.

Its free....and you might be either spending £60 on ebay and buying crap, or spending £200+ on crap from a proper company.

i keep a 37mm socket in the glove box and when realized i could get a locking washer under the nut and do it with my fingers, i had a eureka moment.

Give it a try, works for me

Christ man. Doing up a steering wheel hub nut by hand. Do you fill up the petrol with a fag in your mouth as well.

No no, i usually let the kids do that, often check to see how much petrol is in the tank with a match.

Thank you, one of the first good responses I've had about, obviously you can see that all of the parts are taking the force in their strongest directions, I would make them but took a while, the ally was £8 from a local engineering company, the bolts were a few quid, and the steering wheel was about £15 off eBay, the rest was just work ad parts we had lying around
