Ah magic you see!

Haha nah, she spoke to me and my girlfriend at brooklands and then added my girlfriend, and I just seem to remember from her facebook, her horse popping one out when it was L2B time haha

Some point back in Nov 2012

Let's launch over it

Can't believe I forgot this little gem of a short story, but this quickie is how the Toad mysteriously came to lose the left part of his grille surround. Taken exactly as it was written to minijules from a private message I found in my inbox (I have other friends, honest!)

''Went on a scouting mission last night in my toad to try and find your mini! No wonder I've not noticed it, you're well tucked away lol. But I did see it in all its chocolatey glory haha.

Oh jesus, I made a massive booboo last night after I saw yours. Took the mini for its weekly drive for a bit, keep it ticking over. Topped it up at the Shell Apsley, drove to Jarman Park, thought I'd have a sneaky fast lap of the giant carpark behind the cinema as it always seems empty around 10pm.

Never been there in my life! So off I go. Put the foot down. Got 1/4 way round, then..

BAM!

Theres some right sneaky little speed bump/raised areas around the perimeter, and my lights are so dim as they are, I launched into it, shot in the air, and crashed down with an almighty thud. All the front lights went out, I thought I'd ******* myself big time.

Still, the toad drove on LOL. What a warrior!

So now my front lights are out, and I had to drive the whole way from Tescos home without them, at 10:30pm. Lucky I didn't get caught! Lesson learnt"

And that, boys and girls, is how the Toad not only blinded himself, but unknowingly also lost the left part of his front grille surround. I never found it either. Whoops.

First trip to Bingley Hall

I dedicated my first trip to Bingley with some little gifts to the Toad - for not going full time steam train on me on the London to Brighton run.

So, Lord Toad, I present you with the following (to be fitted in the coming weeks):

1.75" Side Exit Maniflow Twinbox Exhaust

Minispares Trip!

Went to Minispares over the weekend. Collected two new front floor pans and the freeflow link pipe I forgot at Bingley. Also forgot to pick up a rear valance - whoops. Good job its only up the road.

So many parts in my garage and shed now, getting silly. Need to start grinding down and actually fix the problems. Fingers crossed the weather is good this weekend...

WELDING TIME

Got the new floorpans welded in. All the little holes ground and filled over. Mr Julian kindly put most of my interior back in so he looks reasonably more like a mini now.

He now also has some updates:

- Sealed beams are gone, Wipac Quadoptics in

- 12 x 6.5 deep dish wheels
- Yokos
- rear louvre

- group 5 wide arches
- maniflow twinbox side exit 1.75" exhaust
- cooper freeflow
- k&n air filter
- metro turbo inlet manifold
- fibreglass bonnet
- cobra bucket seats

- a clean

This little $hitbag is going for its MOT next weekend, hopefully ready for London to Brighton in all its turd ridden glory!

Though depending how efficiently I can get things done, he also has these to fit:

- minitastic coil springs
- metro 4 pots
- autoplas dash
