How do you guys polish it to that degree of shinyness? :D

Go to thepolishingshop and have a look at their polishing kits. They start from £9. I'll post a pic of my bits once they're finished!

How do you guys polish it to that degree of shinyness? :D

Go to thepolishingshop and have a look at their polishing kits. They start from £9. I'll post a pic of my bits once they're finished!

I bought the £20 kit, 3 mops, 3 soaps and a load of teeny mops for the nadgery bits. Good kit albeit the coarse mop could do with beiing longer lasting.

Fine soap/fine mop, medium soap/medium mop and coarse soap/mop. Good cheap kit as I said :-)

their sisal normally last a good while, surprised you say it didn't last long?

 

i get all my stuff from them, great to deal with.

Not sure if this counts with it being the entire car haha but i did spend a fair bit of time cleaning and polishing the bumpers, mirrors and wheels :)

Well it's half the size it was after two of the suspension cones in the OP  :unsure:  I'm comparing it to the 9' mop we've had for years.

I had a go at some of my stuff last week, not as shiny as your stuff with the polishing kit ;)

clean , you do not need the polishing kit (although it is s lot easier and slightly better results) but i did this with 1000,2000 then 3000 wet and dry and polished up with solvol autosol and fine wire wool.

 

a lot more work but very satisfying and will only cost around £5 for the gear to do it and still have some left to do loads more  ;D

yeah, have found their big stuff last for quite a while to say the least, just scary the amount of money you can end up spending with them :(
