So for pointlessness how about a polished billet exhaust hanger. I made a rough prototype and then used my feeble Bridgeport milling skills to make the real deal. I just couldn't use the flat plated steel scrap with a muffler clamp my RC40 came with.

I totally approve! I've made mine out of SS which is a proper cop-out in comparison! That is, without doubt, a gold star for pointlessnesss!
Now for more pointlessnness points we need anodisation!

i have noticed mate its the anodised spacer for the lower shock mount , its all the little details that make the difference

I inquired about anodizing it's just way too expensive for a one off of such limited "value" I was quoted $100/60GBP for 2 small pieces. If I end up producing the coil bracket I designed then maybe I'll add it to the batch.
