That does indeed Doug look like a Yazaki Tacho here is the wiring which came in the box, pay attention on the wiring for the short red wire and the long red wire though its shown in the colour picture, long red is side light feed in for the bulbs, short red is wired to either blue/yellow depending on the cars earth
 
Very odd I must say but one way of making a dual polarity tacho.

Thanks for going off on one yet again people not reading what I'm after??? I not asking about the boost gauge or the vacuum?? Or the volt gauge or what gauge I should buy.
I want to know why my 52mm rev counter won't work?

 

I asked for clarification and identified the tach.  Kernow provided you wiring information for it.

I was only making observations about what I saw as potential problems for what you have in your set of gauges.

I will not be offering further help or comments on this topic.

Those wiring colours are inline with a Yazaki Tacho and the above document shows where the wires go, if after trying those out and the Tacho does not work then it time for the parts bin I'm Afraid
