Hang on they might be different to how mine hold on, what year is your car as they are the earlier type.

Mine is a 1979.

These that I bought were for 1970 - 1986 models.

I think that may help, I had no pins on mine, I put some double sided sticky tape on the back and stuck it to the door.

Thanks Alex.

I might just use some silicone to put it on.

Like pete said I may have put them on the wrong way (anyoneone confirm this?) I had the problem of when the door was shut the check strap seals overlapped the door seals so may be better puting the the other way around?

The later ones sort of sit under the bulbous bit of the door seal really tight to the seal where it attaches to the frame, even then lots of minis have them bulging out between the door and a panel when the door is shut, although I guess thats how it stops water getting in.

I've tried putting them on in various different ways but can't get the door shut with them!

I think you can fit them to any car mate, I had to poke out the little pre scored holes for my pegs to go in, if you dont have any dont poke them out, peel off the backing and stick them on to the body not the door, make sure its clean and dry first and job done :-)

Here you go, will fit all wind up window cars, they are handed though so make sure you get both :-)

I've given the ones I bought a bit of a trim with a Stanley knife and they seem to fit now. Looks like its still a good tight fit so I will see how it goes.

If it still leaks I will give those other ones a try.
