There is a 1974 mini newly listed on ebay, its light browny green and a 1975 olive green one.

Thanks blacktulip, I spotted those. The '74 I'm interested in if I can get up North before the auction ends - it has already sold on Ebay so I'm not sure why that sale fell through.

I spoke to the owner of the '75 and he was completely straight about the work it needs but it's more than I'd like to take on at the moment.

Matt.

What about the red 1975 850? Looks pretty nice in the pictures.

The 850? If so I've seen it. The description is fairly honest in that it's a restoration as per the standards of the early 90s, unfortunately that means a lot of repairs on the car that wouldn't be acceptable now.

I won't go into too much detail as it's a public post but suffice to say you'd need to spend what the car is advertised for again reasonably soon to make it right into the future.

I'm probably coming across as fussy but all I want is a straight, honest, rust free example that if it has been repaired/welded it has been done to a good standard.

I should have bought yours when it was for sale last year!

Matt.

Never painted, never welded one previous owner, nery tidy and standard. Could be made into a show car with little effort.

26K ish on the clock, totaly standard

Cheers, I appreciate it. I'm going to try to arrange to see the '74 car on Sunday so fingers crossed it's worth the trip!

Although saying that HPI can't find that car... Hmmm, more digging required.

Matt.
