So she's getting checked out by a Mini mechanic on the Shore tomorrow, I'll see how well she is compared to how good she looks.
Fingers crossed she is a good'n and go from there really.

So I heard back from the Mini man and he had a few points, some that I could fix myself some it needs some pro health packs for.
Good points were that she was very tidy, interior is tidy as well
But he said, getting all the little thing fixed between $3000-5000K Depending on how bad the gearbox is, if gears are gone and need replacing then 5 if its all relatively good then around 3
Going to see him tonight see what needs doing with the current owner and then see if we can settle on a price.

Older cars usually do :) I think that might have been a friends of theirs, it was no where to be seen when I went to look at it, but it could have been theirs too

wow 3-5k seems expensive I would imagine 90% of that would be G/B related because the other issues are very minor.. oil leak is a gimme!!
Oh and congrates on the purchase

I think that figure was if everything was done with replacement parts, he said that the gearbox would be $1.5-3k and then $1-2k on replacing all the other parts. But after that it would be mint.
I'll probably do the shocks and what ever else I can do myself since that would be cheaper.
