Got a day out at Northampton Motorsport on Tuesday getting the suspension set up and engine rolling roaded. As long as it's still running after Tuesday then SVA retest is booked for Thursday. Will be popping in to the local DVLA office on Tuesday to start the registration process. Hoping to get it done for Andy to drive on the London 2 Brighton.
Should also mention that Andy(being a fussy so and so) has decided he's not happy with it and has started to respray it. He's got 3 days to finish it so I can rebuild the car again.

Latest update is it failed it's SVA retest and is currently sitting sulking in the garage waiting for some more modifications to keep Mr SVA happy. Unfortunately we had a different tester for the retest who was a bit of a jobs worth and failed it on some other bits that the first tester passed. Also having issues with the emmisions but that's another story.

After 3 years building it finally passed it's SVA.
All we need to do now is get the DVLA to inspect it and wait for a new reg to be issued. Hoping this will be done before Aug 6th so it can be driven to the IMM.

We also have another minor issue to overcome before the IMM. The carbon arches were only temporarily fixed for the SVA in order to get the correct wheel coverage. Wasn't an issue as the tester never pulled them to see if they were secure. Unfortunately 2 of them decided to part company with the car on the way home and we didn't realise untill we stopped and looked at the car on the trailer . If anyone finds a couple of carbon arches between Leighton Buzzard and Northampton then I know a car that needs them back .
Also got to allow all the bits of trim we had to add to pass the SVA fall off .

Thanks for all the great comments guys, it makes it all worth while.
I cant believe the amount of attention its getting... Won the the car of the day at the italian job night, ace cafe thursday night.
Not on line at the mo so would like to grab this chance to say a massive massive thank you to peter white for building the best part of the car for me. I could have never done it with out you mate! I can only take praise for the bodywork. Also his wife Samanther for all her patience, coffee, lunches and letting me keep it at their place for the duration of the build.
Now time to enjoy it, and trust me i sure am!!!
