I have had  a 1995 Leyland Mini Mayfair Automatic from new. However it has developed an  Oil Leak on the Offside Gearbox Seal.

Is this an easy repair, if so how to do it. Alternatively is there a reputable Mini Specialist near London E11 that could overcome the problem

If you mean the drive shaft oil seal, it is a fairly easy job depending on your facilities and experience.

Wheel off
Split top ball joint,
Pop inner pot joint from drove shaft and withdraw from splined shaft, the disconnected top ball joint should give you enough movement to push the drive shaft of the spline to disconnect it. If not you may have to split the bottom ball joint as well
Prise out the oil seal careful not to damage the housing and replace with a new one
Then reconnect driveshaft, ball joint(s) etc
