Oh ok! And I'm fine to have standard belts in the front not harnesses?!

Yes, standard belts will work.

Pipe insulation isn't thick enough and it shouldn't be used in a rally car as it doesn't meet the MSA/FIA regs...

Also it's worth considering the hammering you'll get off your insurance for a cage...

I wasn't talking about MSA or FIA rally cars but rally cars in regional championships like VAS or ASAF over here in Belgium, most of them just use the insulation, your not going to hurt your head with the insulation, believe me...

Yes, the FIA approved roll cage padding is denser than the insulation, that's because it's designed to use when wearing a helmet so when your going to bash your bare head into it (in an accident), it's going to hurt... the non FIA stuff they sell at Demon Tweeks is exactly the same as the insulation, the main difference is the insulation costs maybe £1-2, the non FIA stuff costs £8 and the FIA stuff costs at least £15...

Do they not like a cage? Haha surely it makes the car stronger so it's safer? Or are they bothered about head injuries linked to the cage being installed?

Insurance company's work in misterious ways...
The main reason is you have to ask why someone would want a cage (that is designed to protect you in an impact) on the road.. Another words you're more likely to drive like an idiot if you have one.. That's the insurance company's view and in my case yes it's true..

It maybe diferent if you fit a show cage but I'm not sure about that...

My point about the roll cage padding is you can get the proper stuff that's thicker on one side so it can be fitted into the car, the only difference with the non FIA stuff is it's fire regulations etc.. It's still roll cage padding designed for the job..

My point is: there's no need to buy the FIA stuff for a normal road going car, it's stupid to buy flame retardant roll cage padding when your standard seats, door cards, dash board, roof lining, ect. are still going to burst into flames...

More chance of personal injury in a crash. Such as banging your head.

I'm on about using roll cage padding rather than pipe lagging...

That's what I assumed! It's why I dismissed one really! As I was told without harnesses was dangerous!

Or these, I've never seen these before...:

I don't think white would look good on your car, the roof is white already and you have white stripes on the bonnet, white wheels would be too much white, you need more variation. I think black would be the best choice for your car but plain silver ones would be nice too and if you really want to go crazy you could even try some gold wheels (but I'm not sure that'll look right...).

Perhaps I should ask for some photo shopping?!?!?

Just put a thread in digital mini for some photoshopping, if I get any response I'll get you to see what you think looks best!!

How about the climair wind deflectors you were thinking about a few months ago? Or have you changed your mind on them? You are still welcome to trial fit mine to see what they look like.  =]

If you see this http://www.theminifo...op-some-wheels/

There are some black wheels on it and I agree I think they look best?! Does everyone else?

I agree with the 12 inch wheel shout, or even some slightly wider wheels at that. Every time I follow my friend in his sports pack it annoys me how far the 13" minilites sit inside the arches ahah.

Yes I would totally agree with that! New wheels are on the agenda! But deciding on colours/styles is proving more difficult!!!

Yeah I hear you, at the moment i'm stuck between 10 inch minilites and 10 inch Rosepetals. I think 10" wheels look ace on Sportspacks but they're not for everyone.
