Blown Fuse, No Wipers Or Number Plate Lights.

I put my wiper motor back in yesterday but I couldn't get it to work. All I did when I removed it was unclip it from the park switch.
Reconditioned and greased it. I went to use it and got nothing. At the same time I was changing my number plate lights. They now don't work either. I have a picture if my fuse (third one done, on a 4 fuse box)
It's blown. Would this stop both working ? Or is it something else ?
Also should my wiper motor be earthed ? It has a little tab near the worm gear that looks like it should have a spade wire on it.
Thanks all
Theo !!

Does anyone know of a list of the 4 fuses ? I'm on my way to the shops right now to get some. Sorry to have to ask. If I was at home I would have a look and find it

Oh, and if you want to know what they feed, look at the colours of the attached wires. I am not convinced that the fuses were always in the same order, or perhaps previous owners had swapped them around, putting things back together wrongly, but the wire colours are always consistent unless the loom has been severely butchered. There is a combination of 2 or 4 fuses in the box, and others in-line. If you have 4, and only a few line fuses, they "should" be as follows:
TOP
1 White (supply from ignition switch) - 35A fuse- 2 Green (brake and reverse lamps, indicators, heated rear window, control input to dim dip unit. All stuff that should operate only with engine running.
3 Brown (permanent live from battery) - 25A fuse - 4 Purple (horn, headlight flasher, brake failure warning circuit, radio memory) All stuff that can be activated at any time with or without ignition.
5 Light green-white (accessory position of ignition switch) - 25A fuse - 6 Heater motor, wiper motor, washers, sometimes instruments, and possibly electric fan. All stuff that you may want when ignition key is in, but engine not running.
7 Red (first position of light switch) - 15A fuse - 8 Red-green Side and rear lights, instrument panel lights, another control input to dim dip unit.
BOTTOM
(In addition, fuse 7-8 may be feeding only the LEFT side and tail lights, red-black, and a line fuse from red will feed the RIGHT lights, red-white.)
If you have line fuses, they will be at least
Brown (permanently live) - 15A fuse - Purple-orange - hazards and interior lamps (otherwise fed from purple)
Blue (from headlight position of light switch) - 10A fuse - Blue-orange - rear fog lamp
Brown (permanently live) - 15A fuse - Brown-orange - power to dim-dip unit
Later models may have many more, but the colours should be consistent, which should help to clarify many problems, and also serve to indicate where to connect any additional accessories.

Once the rain stops I'll go out and have a look.
I replaced the fuse with another.
So far I have everything working except my wipers and my heater.
I don't have a multi meter so is there anything I can do old school to narrow it down?
