Can anyone advise me please, I've just converted a NOS wiring loom from mid nineties Mayfair to fit the rebuild of my 1970 mini.
The loom has the pink/white ballast resistor wire fitted
My engine is pre A-plus and as such the solenoid is attached to the inner wing.
There's a yellow and white wire which I understand momentary provides 12v to the coil whilst cranking to aid starting.
I know the the yellow/white wire runs to the + on the coil however can someone please tell me if the opposite end should connect to the 'starter side' of the solenoid.
I've included a photo to try and clear the fog a bit
Cheers
