Yep. Chatham is the home of the Chav. Thats why im worried about my car. The chavs will vandalise it for the sake of it. In my area (Princess park) it will be ok because im pretty popular with all the chavs and they all kinda crawl up my arse so to speak (because ive got the fastest moped in the area) but anywhere like luton highstreet or Chatham main street, and it will be kicked, windows smashed etc. Not because its me, But because its got a decent set of wheels and its a mini.

Unless its a rusty heap of C**p, It will get broken into or scratched here in chatham. It sucks I kno, But thats the way Chavs work.

Im not saying they are all like that, But about 80% of them are... Theres no way they will beable to steal the car tho  unless they put it in a van or somting. Simply because the alarm/immobiliser cost the prev owner over £200. and another £100 for it sorting out because the battery went in the remote, and NONE of the garages could bypass it
And chavs are thick as Fcuk so I cant see them starting it.

Anyway, Rant over!

Security, Any ideas on how to hide the DVD player?

hehe i've not been on here for yonks, here's my dash in its current state, got a rather nice new pioneer hu last week so now have the ps2 wired through the speakers and it sounds awesome. The front builds have been in for about 2 months now and sound really good and have far better sound than any door build i've come across.

Is the TV and PS2 battery friendly?

Ive got a PS2 slimline which is 8.5 volts. Im geting a cigerette lighter port in my new dash, it will plug into that! :cheese:

Im just WAITING FOR SCURVY DOG TO GET BACK TO ME ABOUT THE FIBERGLASS DASH! :erm:

i have used it for over 4 hours continuous with the sound through the stereo and had no-probs starting car, that said the battery is the biggest i could fit in the tray (over 500 cranking amps) so should last a while. The actual ps2 doesn't draw much to be honest and the slimline probably uses less.

True.

I just dont know how in going to mount my Slimline because it dosent have a tray for the CD. Its got a flap which pops up (Like the PSone) So its going to need atleast 6" of clearance above it.

Now I intend to hide it all behind my dash because the theiving little C**Ts around my area will nick it straight away!

My TFT screen is built into a head unit and at the tough of a button it comes out and then stands up. I just dont know where to place it all.

Any ideas where scurvy dog is. Ive been waiting for a reply for about a week now. Im getting paid on 28th so I will be ready to pay for a dash from him then for defo. :P
