I would be in if my Mini is done in time.
 
we could all take separate convoys from our necks of the wood and meet at the port perhaps. Then one massive convoy over to Belgium.
 
Now that would be a thing to behold! and a great photo opportunity.
 
If enough people are interested in making this happen i would defiantly make sure mine was ready.

It's a nice realistic deadline for my car too.

Would love it to be in Belgium. Never driven our Mini in Europe so would be an easy start.
The Belgians deserve it really as you quite often see Mini Fun Club Belgium cars at English shows. ( including the nutter in the yellow Moke)

when we were in Edinburgh the first time we went in a chippy and my mate ordered a pie. He was from Shrewsbury and had had a bit of a sheltered upbringing. The look on his face when they dumped it in the deep fryer was priceless. Is there any food the scots can't fry?

I don't even really like normal batter on fish in the chip shop as it's usually swimming in grease!

 

Can't stand greasy fish. Why someone would take a nice piece of fish and then deep fry it when it could be seasoned and steamed instead is beyond me!

 

don't get me wrong, i do like a battered cod now and then but if it's leaking oil, then i can't eat it!
