I take no responsibility for any trouser movement caused by JBL And once again, thanks to everyone for the compliments, so nice to have your work appreciated. Got back from Blyton 2 hours ago where she was well received, didnt take any pics though as it was Arctic cold - Blyton is an airfield so very windswept! Going to Thoresby Hall classic car show on Monday though which is a lovely setting and should make for some nice pics. Its a good show, worth popping in if youre near.

Hi! Recognised your car at Thoresby today after reading this thread a couple of weeks ago. Looked excellent 'in the metal'. Awesome work! Was going to come and say hello, but you already seemed to have quite a few people wanting to speak to you. :)

Pass me the smelling salts before I hit the floor!
I am utterly gobsmacked by this build.
Good work, Sir.
It is just beautiful. The detail is just fabulous.

Nice to have her appreciated! Juju, while the build was costly, reactions such as yours are priceless, certainly makes the long nights worth it. I have a few more pics but have mainly been enjoying her - all teething problems fixed and I have done a bit of basic tuning by ear and she pulls like a train, those Speedwell bits certainly seem to live up to their hype! Speedwell boot badge to be installed soon, oil pressure gauge installed yesterday (been running a Smiths one as the Speedwell one had a weird connector). mk1leg, well noticed! I accidentally left them outside in the damp for a week which ruined the polished surface so I just had them vapor blasted as it was close to the end of the build.
At a few local shows:

Awesome Jared! They are cool covers I have had to swap back to my old metro one due to attempting to spray mine crackle black and it failed miserably
Will have to Nitromors it off at some point.
Thanks also Zeemax and thedjse, Im really enjoying driving her after a year out :)
I have lots more pics to share, been to a few more shows including an illegal (and totally incredible) Fast and Furious style street meet where the people there were stunned by her, so much more attention and questions than at a classic show
Will put some up ASAP, Ive really just enjoyed driving her though, so far managed to keep her dry too! Im moving away to start a graduate job in Sept and she will unfortunately be put into storage
