Slim line fan
Relay
Switch
Electronic ignition
Currently doing a 500 mile over kill oil service. Just makes for a good flush with no harsh chemicals. Will have another water/coolent flush when the radiator is removed for electric fan install.
Ive also hit what i consider to be a mile stone. Ive hit 20,000 mile mark!!!

Installed with 30A cable, 20A switch (lit when on, dims on sidelights if on at night) 40A relay off of a 30A fused supply . Fans tucked between inner wing and rad, pretty pleased as you can't really see it. I think its just a nice touch for when stuck in start stop traffic.
Cooling system has had another flush through and is nice and fresh as before.
Only other thing to do is get electronic ignition installed before MITP

I looked into electric fan “kits” before i ordered my parts. Got it all for a fraction of the price, granted its on a switch and not automatic but switched kits seem to still be around £75. Mine was quite a bit less than half that sourcing the parts myself. I also looked into fitting the kits, many have either mounted on the outer side of the inner wing or cut the inner wing out. Ive managed to get my fan inbetween the inner wing and the radiator with no cutting or pulling the inner wing. Thing is the fan i used is the exact same one all the other kits use.
Any one running electric fan here?

Enjoy all the mini shows you can get to!
I miss having that on my door step, seems the midwest USA don't have many classic mini shows or clubs... :-(

That's a lovely and clean example. Is it still auto? Any plans to swap to manual?

Still original, still auto! Yes Brooklands is a 15 minute ride from doorstep to doorstep. Its first ride out after years of neglect

Just read from start to finish. You've got yourself a really nice, honest mini there! Loving the wheels as well!

Thank you. Yes still loving it, about to go out to the garage and do a few odd bits. Tinker time, nothing major
