Nice Clubby Pete, our R55 has the mood lighting and now that the dark nights are here it looks great. Our's is now hitting 25k but it was bought simply to clock up the miles  :D


I keep finding more lights, when I think I've found them all I find another!

I had an R50 cooper when it first came out as a daily to give the mini a bit of a rest... 

 

it's long since been sold after an engine failure and then gearbox failure (all replaced under warranty), and my new daily is a Renault Megane 225 sport. Has so much grin factor and character, and still somewhat the soul of a mini somewhere inside of it. The Clio has more mini soul in it, but I needed four doors!

 

I know Renaults aren't seen as reliable but it seems to be fine at 100,000 miles! They're cheap, fast and practical, and makes me smile every time I look at it, much in the same way the Mini does.

The mechanism is broken on mine due to some heavy handed idiot I'd say!

Hi i have a 2007 MINI cooper s as daily driver + mpi having a rest
MINI is a great car in its own right-ride comfort is improved in the r56 and fuel costs/tax cheaper over the r53 's i prev owned
