Looking at the diagram again if I were to take my measurements from c to b points diagonal this would surly give me the awnsers needed.

I intend to replace the floors cross member rear kick panel ect after I have replaced both rear quarters but these will only be done once I have my new back panel on and boot floor sorted out.

But still want to no it's safe to do so with everything in the correct place.

That would work but you would also need to take measurements from other datum points.

measure as much as you can from as many places as you can.

Bit late now, but you would have been better off bashing the bent panels into shape before chopping them off. It would release any panel tension and help with the fit of the new panels.

If everything seems good with the underbody measurements, then you only really have panel gaps as a guide to lining everything up. Just start with a panel that you can't go wrong with and line the others up too it.

It is so hard to give good advice over the internet without seeing the car in the flesh.

alli can keep saying is MEASURE again and again. Once, twice, three times a lady

I'm on the Isle of Wight Mate.

It will be fine, just take each step as it comes, be methodical and trial fit as many panels as you can before welding.
