well the suspension fits into the subby and you have a later subby on an early type body.

yeah thats right.

I think the big hole in the body is where the hydrolastic pipes would have come out.

how it was held together before i have no idea. i also cant see how the bolts has gone all the way down now?

these pics might help explain: http://images.google...l=h...=off&sa=G

I think a wet subframe can be made into a dry one BUT you have a dry late type with a early type body i think

Just had a thought. do you have a project thread with pics in or a project page anywhere? there may be more clues on there

i'm maybe considering striping the car down and selling it after all this trouble and concentrate on my other mini to make some money back. will sell the engine, subframe 10" brake set up as one peice as it'll make a good slide on project. also if anyone may want a tax exempt clubman shell then inform them as this one maybe going soon, minus engine etc...i will have a coil over kit for sale to as well probably

this is only a maybe...considering my current mind set all could change later :geek:

well regardless of what i need i thought i would let w&p know there fault and call them to show them the car and even fix *cough* it....yeah i know new sub-frame.

yesterday he was out on a run they took my number said he would call me back. all day waiting nothing. today i called back and same guy answered the phone and i asked for micheal, he seemed to stutter for a bit and be lost for words then said that he was flying all day :geek: now i'm no rocket scientist but does that sound like he's lying a bit considering the long pause and stuttering??

i did ask why they did not call me back yesterday he said that he ran out of time. to which i pointed out that that is an unresonable reply and the fact that he should have made just 5 mins to give me a call to discuss matters. guess if this carries on like this might have to take my tent there over the weekend for monday morning just so i can see him.

its very frustrating but just got to be patient and maybe write a letter later.
