What's the best place for miscellaneous nuts n bolts in both imperial and metric?

And what's a useful range of imperial threads - UNF or UNC?

While they seem to have most of the Mini stuff, they are somewhat on the dearer side.

I get mine from an Industrial Fastener Supplier, as an example, Box (of 200) of 5/16" UNF Nuts, Grade 8, Plated are about $22.00.

Namrick are THE BEST. Order tomorrow and they will arrive on Thursday. Prices and quality are excellent

Check out the vast range on their web-site. I just topped up my UNF stuff with a 450 piece mixed bag, plus some often used sizes like 5/162 unf X 1.25" long hexagon head.

Also get a small selection of 1/4" unc & 5/16" unc

Nope it is select imperial and then still have ruddy metric stuff there.

Off down to my local bolt place later to get a few spares.

Purists would hate me but I use the dreaded metric where possible for two reasons. Firstly you get a much better range of fasteners nowdays in metric for instance as well as high tensile standard 8.8 (S equivalent) you can get higher grade 10.9 and 12.9. Secondly most sizes are available in multi grade SS as well.
They are also much cheaper but that would never cross my mind!!!!!!
