So i went out for a drive today and i pulled up to go into a shop when i returned to the car and tried to start the car, when i did the started diffident turn and white smoke pored out the engine on the left side as you look from the front. i waited for about 10 mins then it restarted. any clue what caused it?? thanks.

The smoke smelt like an electrical problem.

If you've let the smoke out it shouldn't work anymore, everything runs on smoke as usually when there is a problem and the smoke gets out it stops, therefore everything runs on smoke :D

But more seriously, it wasn't the fan belt jammed?
