Cracking on with this mate!

Going to be one fine mini once it's sorted out looking at what you have achieved so far.

I'm with you on the wheels and roof, glad they are changing

Would you mind sharing the seller you bought it from? I'd be interested in buying a replacement case too.

Is the exact one i bought :)

Guys, bit of a problem. I was cleaning the engine as its COVERED in oil/grease (found out the rocker cover bolts were finger tight :-/ ) and saw that the stabilizer bush on the right handside (as you look at the engine from the front) is shot, the engine rocks back and forth a fair bit. As i see the general consensus is that the engine mounts maybe shot too, so looks like i'm going to make myself busy over the next few days!

Stabiliser mounts were shot :( this caused the usual thus sound whilst accelerating and decelerating.

Replaced with polybushes. Not a difficult job after all!

Also fitted new exhaust :) happy with a side mount.

Waiting on Magnecor leads as they had to go back due to wrong colour plugs. Hopefully this week I'll get to play!

Cracking looking Mini.  Mine will looklike that again one day :P As regards to the throttle body, ive heard the 52mm Mgf alloy one is a direct replacement, as long as you swap the original  throttle position sensor over too.  Has anybody tried this?

its not a direct swap, fair bit of fiddling, for ultimately no benefit

For a 1.3 I wouldn't want to go any larger without headwork and mapping which I don't want to do. Managed to strip the coil pack mount and paint it silver. Still waiting for my leads! Just want to drive it again :(

Indeed. Which is why I don't want to go down the mapping/external management route. For some reason I'm a fan of MEMS.
