I think the point being made is the rear badge fitted in the photos is incorrect.

Well it wasn't in Basingstoke nor was it 1000 quid.

Wish I did get it for £1000.

I paid 1800

I love these, I think they are th best of all the limited editions they produced over the years. Especially in that colour. Good luck getting a centre consul - just keep searching ebay

So 'mildred'(previous owners name for it)
Is home.

Goes really well, doesn't stop and it's bloody loud!

A few rust spots/holes I didn't notice on the viewing. And a few jobs to get it roadworthy.

Brakes
Fuel pump and hose.
New exhaust centre piece.
Wipers
Indicators to be fixed
Engine mounts
Suspension

Then the rust to be treated.

Here are some pics after a quick wash.

Looks pretty sound to me, I would put the standard door furniture back on it, if it was mine, could get a few quid for the alloy ones on ebay. I believe Wollies trim do trim paint which might restore the roof if you can get a close colour match. Good luck with the project.

Cheers, yeah it's not too bad. Not sure if I paid too much though in heincit.

Yeah door trim is going and it's going standard as possible without costing a fortune.

A real shoestring budget this one.

Really like the 1098 motor though lots of poke compared to the 998.
