Phoned MED today.......they were full of appoliges and have put 1 in the post so hopefully will be in jersey friday.........lol....that leaves me 1 day to refit flywheel clutch cover, refit engine mount, couple up exhaust, refit carbs and starter, and fire her up...as I have a show to attend on sunday.....lol

well MEd came up trumps new fly center arrived and I will start fitting it all back tomorrow..............

well good news....I finally got everything back on and in place with the help from Lewis and after 2 hours trying to set the timing at 8.30pm she finally started.....But I will have to wait till morning to get her finally running properly....lol

well I managed to go for a test drive to a local show all was fine and she ran well plenty of go in all gears but when I arrived at show then a wierd noise from engine....so on way back I drove as carefull as I could (only 1 mile) and when I got home I left it Idle and I'm not happy somethings not right.......so some friends are poping around one evening next week so listen and try to find out the problem. in all the years I have been rebuilding engines this Swiftune unit is being a pain....lol

Hi..everybody....I think its all sorted I spoke to the chap in Holland and after a long chat we kind of sorted the noises out......Thankfully this time its not the verto clutch (touch wood) and I reset all the valve to rockers gaps and then took her for a long drive.......so tomorrow will be attending Our local clubs monthly meet and this will see if everything running.....will try and take a video .................

Out of interest how does the SW8 cam go? Is it a lumpy cam or is it quite good for road use?
