Yeah, A49 is closed just before Skips (mate of mine used to work there). I can head out towards Wrescum and meet MS somewhere on the way down!

When is this gonna happen by the way, my mini needs a little bit of work yet

But aye, where you guys are, welshpool is about 50 odd miles I think from me, so it'll be a very entertianing trip... its going to be pure A and B roads for me - as the engine will still be new then

And Mattm, pull your finger out, you have 14weeks to finish it

well, if we are talking in real terms, I reckon mine will be done for Easter weekend. It would have been sooner, but I have been waiting for moolar to finish buying all of the bits needed.

Welshpool is, well, prolly 30 miles for me, maybe 25. So it'll be a nice trip for me (also be running in probably).

only thing is, mine won't be ready till witson weekend the earliest, would be sooner if i have more pennies to pay for the paint...
I've ordered 80-85% off all the bits to finished off the Mini now, so once shes painted, all I have to do is get a few other little bits, such as seals, new light lens etc... nad she'll be done - once shes mot'd, tax'd, and insured of coarse....

If anyone is interested, I will be going to Aldons RR, once I've racked up 400-500miles, so if anyone wants to come with me and get their mini tuned come along, be nice to meet others, and to compare my mini to others...

Where are Aldon now? When I used to live in Kidderminster my next door neighbour worked there. He did my dads old 1275 GT up for him (sweet 1340, JK box, twin 1.5s etc.) he was a well cool bloke! They used to be in Brierly Hill I think.

Still there Matt, its an hour from me, going along the old Hereford to Kiddy via Bromyard road, I'll be getting him to recurve my dizzy too, unless I get megajolt before then... even if I do have it then, I'll still need him to sort it out...

Also Matt, your runnning a 1380 too right? with a normal 286 cam? I'll be aweseom to see the differ between mine and yours!
