Another stalwart of the sixties and seventies was some sort of sludge based on molybdenum sulphide that you put in through the plug holes to 'restore compression and liven up tired old engines' it was crap but gave just enough temporary improvement to manage to sell a heap of dung that used more oil than petrol.
