Lol, thats 20 alright, we're the only harrier sqn on land wearing deck hats! Stupid Navy bums! Thats one of the reasons im leaving 20. Anyway.....

On Ebay, I paid £550 for my engine, loom, ecu, 'box, gear linkages, driveshafts (one broken), hubs, under dash loom and a cuddly toy *yay!* delivered for £50.

I am putting it under the standard length, i dont care how much fapping it takes, it will go under the standard length! Ive been reading a few posts on 16vmini.co.uk about getting the B16 under the standard length. All it requires is a chuck cut out of the bulk-head for the inlet manifold and a re-location of the alternator.

There the major things anyway.

It'd probably be cheaper if we do an 'Ade and Pete' and buy two of evrything and be it all at the same time! Go on, you know you want to!

With regards to the engine, keep and eye o Ebay, I was tracking dozens over several months, most went for about £500-600, some were as low as £300, and I got mine for £260! Other than that go to your local BIG newspaper shop, the one that has all the different specialist magazines (not those!!), get a couple of Japanese car mags, and I think Exchange and Mart do a special parts mag. Should help, and in the back there will be companies who specialise in selling recon Jap engines, which shouldn't cost more than £800-900 (I think I found one company in London that would do a recon B16A2 for ~£700 with a 3 (might of been 6) month guarantee).

Ok, Im fed up of only getting a couple of hours on the engine once a month and not getting much done to it.

Im getting the engine transported from Stafford to Peterborough for free, the joys of the armed forces!

Be prepared for a ******* load of engine rebuild pics over the next month or so! :gimme:
