Hi,

Wondering if you can help.

Wipers work on click one and also if i do single wipe but do not work on fast wipe.

Checked the connector to motor with 5 wires...... have a permanent live, earth, a wire live when switched to click one and then only perm live when in position 2.

Could this be the switch? Can you tell me what wire is live for fast wipe and what is the other wire for... I can then check feeds from switch.

Also the wipers seem to struggle when on click one... it feels like the motor does not have enough 'oomph', they do work but quote slowly.  Can't remember if this is the norm for slow wipe.

Cheers.

Sounds like you may have a stuck or worn out brush inside the wiper motor. In my motor there are 3 brushes, one earth, and the other two for the 2 different speeds. The armature bearings may need lube or replacing if struggling to run.Hope the armature isn't shorted, that can cause sluggish running too.
