Maybe BH should make a super shell out of stainless steel, ala Delorean.

We could get Stainless Bodies for our Mokes at one time

Yep, a big +1 on that Rocky Spiderman, the galvanised mokes are the best ones. You'd think they'd gal the UK cars, they really need it. I suppose its a cost thing. There's places that do it for you but it ain't cheap, a bit like a vacine against tin cancer.

Maybe BH should make a super shell out of stainless steel, ala Delorean.

The De Lorean didn't have a stainless steel body, it had stainless steel outer panels fixed onto a GRP basic structure.  Always thought that was a daft idea because stainless doesn't rust, but it does go rather dull. Imagine needing to change one panel for a new one - it wouldn't match the existing ones at all.

It would also be about 70-80 kilos of zinc I believe.  Like having an extra passenger all the time.

The Galvanised Moke Shells were around 60 kgs heavier than those that were not.

Have been coated 180 to have the shell galvinised. Not to bad but with the warping issue as cold dip won't be as good it's still only a thought.

You can regrain the delorian panels, wheeler dealers (or classic car rescue) regrained a painted delorian.

Galvinisation is very thick and pretty ugly, some sort of passivation would be better.
