Should I Put Stone Chip On My Mk1 ? Paint Shop Says No !

So its decided then ! I will be stone chipping the whole external floor / inner arches / up to the bulkhead and outer sills !

Happy days and yes as Cal mentioned I did use Gravitex. Before I applied mine I placed the container in hot water for 10 mins and this made it soooo much easier to apply. Have a play with the gun pressure as well. This can make a big difference on the final finish.

If you want a smooth finish stone chip. You can thin gravitex with about 10-20 percent thinners and put it through a spray gun. I used a 2.0 needle, but would come out flatter with a 1.8mm needle.
