Homemade frame so my drive shaft lengths won't be the same as your ones as your using an allspeed frame right ?

No they won't best just to keep measuring it to get it as near spot in.

Right then bout time I had a proper update, so I cut the jack plugs down and managed to plug them in all be it very snug

Next step, filled up with water only to find I'd left an outlet completely open so water pissed out everywhere haha blocked it off refilled it and had a small leak round the back, jubilee clip tightened and then onto the next step.
changed the oil n filter and also filled up the gearbox with fresh oil :)

Then the moment of truth I turned the key and she fired into life almost straight away

All the lights went out on the dash so I've obviously got oil pressure and the alternator is clearly charging :)
So now it's full speed ahead to get an MOT

Think that's just because I'm stood near the front lol if I went round the back n pressed the noisey pedal it would be loud ;)

Well progress has been slow keep having to redo things I've already done just had to cut off and relocate the mounting points for my brake pipes at the side of my subframe as they were in the way of my shock absorbers, apart from that I've refitted my dash rails and my roll cage sorry not really anything worthy of pictures

OK so discovered that getting the mini wiper motor to work from the nissan wiring is beyond my electrical knowledge so I've decided to adapt the micra one to fit the mini, updates and pics to follow on Monday I hope lol

Got rained off at work so had a few hours on the mini :) managed to sort my wiper motor issue,

Mini wiper motor

Micra wiper motor

Dismantled both the motors and drilled out the mini casing so it fits over the micra spline, also had to grind the back down so it would sit flat. Next I shortened the micra spline and welded the mini drive cog to it

And half fitted on the car obviously need to attach it to the bulkhead somehow

Next job will be fitting the front windscreen back in

Nice mod for the wiper motor. Does that mean the wipers will perform any better?

Can't say till the screen is in and I fit the wiper arms but I guess they might be more reliable as it's a more modern motor :/
Totally can't get the front windscreen in so going to ring auto glass haha

Windscreen bloke came out and fitted my screen today in like a blink of an eye haha then I decided to finish heat wrapping my exhaust so I opened my new heat wrap to find that the seller had added in a little gift :)

Started sorting out all the wiring for my front lights and indicators so hopefully get that finished next time I work on the mini
