OK so got back from Belgium to find that my inline fuel filter has split so now my mini is covered in petrol

Afraid it's going to be carbonfibre when it's finished but there will still be furry aspects in the mini :)

Dashboard roughly finished so next step will be carbonfibre so fingers crossed as never done it before 🙈

Also fitted my bucket seats and harnesses back in, will have to modify the gear selector at some stage as its to far away

If it's like my shifter and has a bent in it you can disconnect it from the shifter rods and turn it 180 degrees and now the bend faces back....

 

Just beware it does change the position side to side very slightly which meant in mine it now contacted the side of the tunnel in 5th and reverse.

 

I ended up straightening the shifter, the ball is plastic so take it of before heating the stick up to bent it.

Also changing the position of the ball changes the distance of the throw aka a short shifter.

I had thought about turning it round but then decided it would be easier to just bend it although didn't think about it melting will sort something out :)
