Then i made up a tab for the passenger side bonnet pin, got the welder out and welded it in place, i then ground back the weld and painted it.

It then started raining again, as it was only light rain i though ill just stay out, so i gave everything a quick tidy up, but then the wind picked up and i heard a big smash and the gazebo in the back garbed had been picked up flew across the garden and smashed in to the fence, breaking the wooden logs
If it gets a bit dryer later ill go out and do the drivers side bonnet tab.

Skim fill the rear conversion light plates.
Skim fill a few little bits.
Well today iv got alot of what i wanted to get done, done.
First off i fitted the other bonnet pin tab:

Im pleased with how they have fitted.
I then chopped of the rear valance and lip, put a few weld along the the boot floot to the hinge panel. I then bolted the fiberglass rear valance on and that was a great fit

I then chopped the drivers side a-panel off and ill re-fit that soon.
Also here are a couple of pics of the MK1 boot skin rested in place.

Heres a pic of the cage

Iv everything goes to plan ill be getting the cage and my dash painted the in kawasaki green to match the body paint.
Also i got a quote from a local paint suppliers for about £100 for 2.5 liters of kawasaki green with hardener. Does this sound like a reasonable price?

All that i have left to do before the car goes away is:
Test fit the arches
Drill holes for the sunroof wind deflector
Fit drivers a-panel
Fit boot pins
Fit bonnet pins
Make the flip front a removable front
Then when its in the paint workshop me and the guy spraying it for me will fill and rub back the car then its being sprayed

Only joking
Well i got the front wings on

As the flip front was pre-cut in the factory, i thought that everything would fit, but mini things never go to plan, although the fit was very good and i didnt have to adjust much there, the grill hole was cut to big to fit a MK1 grill it would only fit the MK3+ grill, so i had to fiberglass two plates at the sides so i can fit grill buttons. But atleast it all looks right now.
