2001 - Mini One.

The lights on the dashboard (indicators, hazards, foglights) dont work although the actual lights on outside work perfectly.
If i click the indicator stick, the outside lights will come on as normal and work perfectly, but inside the car, the dashboard doesn't show they're on and the 'clicking' is gone.
That's one thing, but the Dashboard lights will randomly come on during a journey (with clicking) for no reason and can't be turned off.
This problem extends to the hazards with no signal they're on but working perfectly outside the car.

The Door locks are also problematic as after locking the car (whether by key or button) they'll immediately unlock themselves. This forces me to force the locks down but leaving the boot unlocked.

This is probably the glaring problem but, the car has been left on an open driveway for the last 2-ish months undriven and only since 5th Nov has it been driven. We charged the battery back up and the car drives fine but there's all these electrical problems.

is this a simple problem to fix or is our option to take it to a specialist/mini garage or get a new battery?

Sorry for the long post, would really appreciate any help.

If the battery was discharged fully then the ECUs might be confused by something. Charge the battery fully, or replace it with new. Can try to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 20 ish seconds.
If problems continue to be present, the diagnostics with a computer at capable garage will be necessary.
But, as above, this forum is at its best for classic Minis.
Good luck,
