Is anybody else getting annoying with them calling it a JDM mini?

It's like me saying my Lexus is BDM because they sold it in the uk

No, its a Japanese spec car, with a lot of differences to any other market.  Its a JDM car.
Not really, JDM are civics and mx5s etc, a British car can never be JDM
Japanese domestic market, not 'made in japan'
So if I imported a bmw from Japan I can call it JDM.... Yeah good one
Japanese spec bmw? Then yes...

Import a Japanese car from France.. Not a jdm import, but if it's built for jap spec, ie with their variations, then it is jdm. Why knit pick anyway? Not the main thing about this thread.. Really

You replied to me mateeeeeeeee

So what was the magic number of new bananas that it made in the end? I see 54% increase but what was the bhp at the start?

The Haltech guys (who ran the rolling road) did their own video...

https://youtu.be/0_n4L1r16uI

At about five and half minutes in, he contradicts MCM and states "about 40% more power".

The engine appeared to be unmodified beforehand, so they've probably managed 90 bhp on E85. When running on straight petrol, power is "noticably less".

I counted at least £3.5k in parts alone. I'd be pretty disappointed if that was mine.

They said on their facebook that there was a few issues which needed to be fixed before they do a 'drive' video.

It wont have 90 bhp at the wheels, standard SPI's make 50 bhp on the wheels on a good day ( Seen 4 RR'd and all withing 3 bhp of 50 @ teh wheels). Indeed very dissapointing! Especially considering they didn't even upgrade thing slike the diff to take the extra torque, and removed a breather without adding one!

I've seen a supercharged small bore with more than 90 ATW, and on rollers that isn't easy to make power on.

I've a feeling a lot will be down to the high compression, low boost and high outside air temperature.
