Actually my car was already running an alternator, and now i am doing the conversion back to dynamo Thanks for your response, I would look into this hopefully soon, as have been busy last couple of weeks, and not much progress on the car...
I also ran some diagnostics on the control box, with it out of the car. If I connect a small battery's + end to the A terminal and the - end to the E terminal (via the voltmeter), I see a deflection of around 12-14V. When I run the same test with the - end of the battery connected to the D terminal on the control box, it still gives a similar reading (even with the cutout points separated manually). Is that how it should be?? I was thinking that probably on the 2nd test, it should not be showing any voltage reading (like when the - end is connected to the F terminal). Could you please guide on this...
