It varies by what's ordered but just ask Doreen think I got 10% on most stuff and 5% on some other parts.

As Daz says generally 10% but it pays the postage on most stuff.

There are a few patches on the underside and they look a bit of a bodge covered with filler or underseal or both !!
So I am thinking a complete floor from M-Machine ? That might be a bit extreme but hey it'll look nice :-)
I better buy myself a welder , oh and teach myself to weld !

Darren

If you are buying a full floor think about treating yourself to a spot welder?

Nice project to start with

Cheers mk3 Cooper S - yes I have been looking for a spot welder as the only bit that I'm not looking forward to is drilling millions of holes ! What is a decent one to buy ?

I have done mine with a clarke csw-6t, I did buy a set of longer arms for reaching toe board and heel board. I have had no issues with it and if bought with a vat free voucher from machinemart is not too bad. It also runs ok on 16amp plug.
If you want to spend more then the csw-13t is a better machine as it has a fuzzy logic to help weld but i have been more than happy with mine as it has a basic timer that works fine.

i have done the full floor thing quite a few times now, but I have some pics about half way down in the link of an estate that I did that was in shocking condition when I got it.

fitting a full floor is a much nicer way of doing it if the budget allows, but it is worth noting that if the areas that the floor is welded to is also in need of repairing, it does get much more complicated. obviously in an ideal world you would just drill all the old spot welds out, offer the new one up and then you could then simply weld it in. in reality the doorsteps are rotten, the flitches are rotten, the heelboard is rotten etc etc, and it takes much more time and effort to replace everything and check it all lines up.

So now the van and all the new panels are with Ryan at Classic and Sport so he can work his magic.
