How long did it take to arrive ? I am looking to order next month I recon and was curious on lead time. But it's looking good and a pile of shiny bits like that are hard to beat!
I guess normally it takes a couple of weeks to send out the kit. I had SC build the short block up for me so it added a couple of weeks.

yip they did it all. I think it cost 60-70

I wondered if anyone knows the size of the 2 unions for the oil pipes on the rear of the cylinder head.
I could wait and call SC on Tuesday, but I want to try and make an order of parts tonight.

Your right! Also happened to source a spare 1275 block......and have found an auto front subframe locally. Oh dear better not let the wife look in the workshop...if you have bought the book, you are now on a slippery slopeLooking good Craig! Like this motor, bought the book to give me inspiration

cam/top plate on and cam pulleys on.
I had some trouble torquing up the cam bolts to 51 nm, since you need to hold the cam shaft with a ring spanner and the bolt with the torque wrench. I will need to get a mate in to help.
