Is there a way to improve the heating in my Mini Mayfair. Input and heat. No matter how many hours I'm driving. I still only get a barely warm airflow.
Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

Install a hotter thermostat. Make sure your coolant is fully topped up too.

Are the rubber ducting seals doing there job ?
To be honest it's not a fantastic heater in the mini anyway, although your heater matrix could be struggling to flow the water through due to a blockage.

Also make sure you bleed the cooling system properly. IMO, you should not need to fit a higher temp thermostat, the standard item should produce enough heat, and cool the car efficiently.

Also, how solid is the mini? I have one that's several oxidation events past its last MOT, and so much air gets through the cabin that the heater can't keep up. Check your condition and fit of all your door seals, windowseals, and firewall plates and grommets. Just replacing the carpets in my rusty one made it feel ten degrees warmer!
thank you for the tip and advice!

Also the thermostat may be old and passed its use by date, in other words weak and opening too soon. That would be the first thing I would do. Replace it!
Thank you to everyone! My head is buzzing with things to try!!
