can i use the original Yamaha R1 clocks from the bike?

But you can use the original R1 instruments but you dont get a decent temperature and oil pressure gauge?

hi everyone,

ok so to update you on the zcars r1 project....:

After realizing that building one from scratch was going to be out of my budget i started thinking about getting one either as a half finished project or as a 2nd hand kit... 'Titters' from here at TMF was selling his as many of you noticed so after a 'quick' 400 mile trip to view the car the decision had been made.

so to cut a long story short i now have a Zcars Hayabusa Mini.

there are still a few jobs to do on the car , which i will be bugging all you zcars owners about hehe.

to start things off, what kind of battery can i use as the current one is from the bike and isnt really good enough to power the reverse and it doesnt keep its charge (because its old i think).

any ideas are welcome .
