I'd have to give the roller a go! what retro10s has done is pretty amazing. seems the sensible option

well for the price of rolling it, I can get in rattle cans....
and I am getting fairly good results with a tester panel....

what's it like up close?- looking swish!
the upside of rollering, is my paint is rustproof, rust nuetralising, primer + topcoat in one. and very, very tough. ie.g. marine use!
looks gnice and level with a rattle can boyo. would love to see some more pics of your progress!

humm, you do have a good point about the roller, I guess if I was doing a bare metal re-spray it'll be ideal, but as my car is white already, it kinda acts as the primer.
I will be roughing it all down, and giving a coat or 2 of white primer as well, spesh on the new metal bits.
The paint is quite translusant, so shows the dirt thats under the paint, and as this was only a tester to see how it goes on, and what it actully looks like..... its come up well!
Up close its nice, not really orange-peely, and not patchy either! and best of all NO RUNS! so i think I'll be investing in 20odd tins of spary paint lol
heres a piccy of it when its a nicer day...
