Did anyone make a note of the three that the guy was selling last week that removed them all after some probing?
The 1275 Clubman minibits is selling on eBay has not included the reg but clearly states the shell is not included so that is a V5 and the dealer needs avoiding.

You're not police trained and you're going to cause someone innocent a whole host of issues some day.
Police are paid to do a job they are trained for as are HMRC etc.
Did you know one of the people you've accused of wrong doing in the past with an eBay shell sale was me? I contacted mods to explain the listing and my actions on here so that things could be monitored. I was totally innocent and proved that..
In the past you've slagged people for selling a shell without an id saying it could be a stripped stolen car and more recently slagged someone for selling a shell with an id saying it promotes theft of other cars.
It's good that you don't support cloning and vehicle theft etc but haven't you got anything better to do? If you're concerned report the adds to eBay (even though that's not your paid work) and to the police on an individual basis.

Police trained, really, jeez not the FBI is it, not going to take any time at all to put the registrations in a thread of v5s with no shell, there was 3 for sale last week all totally straight up v5 only, if they appear on a car in the future they are ringers absolute no grey areas at all.
eBay shell sales are difficult as they can be repaired or reshelled which if ANYONE BOTHERED to read the OP it was intended for v5s WITHOUT shells firstly, cars that were basket cases on eBay still need treating with caution and I stand by that 100%, no matter how good your intentions are and how nice the buyer is once its gone off your drive you dont know what they are going to do, but thats another thread.
How am I going to cause someone innocent a whole host of trouble, what a nonsense, reporting v5 with no shell to eBay? I've NEVER EVER reported even the rottenest of shells to eBay including yours as long as that rotten shell is included, NEVER!

And most sellers don't show the registration number.
All 3 were included in the v5s for sale last week, probably belong to one of the naysayers here, lol.

What a good idea
Just me and you then, lol.
I think perhaps the mini scene is just too ingrained with the idea that swapping vin plates around is ok?

nothing wrong with CityEPete's idea. if you have nothing to hide then you wont object... anyone heard of Lance Armstrong ???
too many people turn a blind eye these days and that's how they get away with it.
it's wrong and it should be stopped. DVLA should be taking more responsibility for this kind of thing,

To be honest we've had threads like this in the past and they haven't really ended up well.
Too many people think they can identify a ringer when they can't and when an innocent members car gets dragged into it, then that spells trouble.
If a prospective buyer sees a car that they would like verifying then that's fine.
