did have to use my cover though, but that was on The Last And Ludicrous's car
He's still stuck down there now.

His car started to lose a bit of power, then it seemed to be ok. he came in front of me and the all of a sudden bang....followed by loads of smoke and a lil skidding His engines a goner!

I think he is going to get the rac to tow it home.

made it 500 miles and i broke down 5 mins from home from water in the dizzy. i was cruising through puddles on m4 and m3 good fun! lucky tho..

Just back myself...left Scurvy, Nick & Josie and TC down there....I have to go to work tomorrow > But a good weekend in many ways....shame I didn't meet many new members even tho I was stood by Jake in the show n shine for most of Sunday. Good to see all the old faces tho..! Enjoyed the run in the afternoon....anyone (BH2Ners) notice the mini carousel on one of the bends?
Jake performed really well for his first major outing with the new engine, got back to Gordano in two hours and two more to get home..most impressed!

Didn't like the change in the "vibe" down there tho....seems to be even more non-mini folk than usual...walking through the campsite felt intimidating with all the boy racers...new clubhouse has completely destroyed any atmosphere it used to have...even Ben Murphy and Adam said the same and they work there! Not sure if that will be my last one unless something drastic is done to bring back the "real" Mini experience it used to have.

lol yup, it's currently still sitting at the top of the hill in the campsite, with the bonnet semi off! like Jamie said, he's getting RAC out tomorrow or thurs and getting a new engine, he should be at l2b

well someone came into our caravan and said hello, i had no idea who it was but after they left i was told it was bungle, so if it was you bungle you should really introduce yourself when you walk into peoples caravans saying "ahh The Mini Mob!!" after seeing our sign in the window!!!!!

Had a great time at Newquay, lots of different minis to look at, it was a shame I didn't meet up with any of you from The Mini Forum. My engine packed up two days before the run. You may have seen me driving around in a green Subaru. It would have been good if The Mini Forum had a banner up near where they were camping. Hoping to have my new engine built for the London to Brighton run.
