[Jake Blues]

It would have been good if The Mini Forum had a banner up near where they were camping.

There were TMFers all over the place, mostly in caravans so it wouldn't be possible to banner it!

Didn't like the change in the "vibe" down there tho....seems to be even more non-mini folk than usual...walking through the campsite felt intimidating with all the boy racers...new clubhouse has completely destroyed any atmosphere it used to have...even Ben Murphy and Adam said the same and they work there! Not sure if that will be my last one unless something drastic is done to bring back the "real" Mini experience it used to have.

Bungle did point you and TC out to me but then My 3 year old dissapeared (again) and we went home soon after.....

I felt ashamed turning up at MITP last year without a Mini.. seems like any old chav can turn up in any old car at a mini show these days, get pissed, play loud music and drive like a and no one says anything. i'm in 2 minds as wether its worth the trek again, i was expecting soooo much more.. that said, i didn't really get involved but after all the dung we went through with the van and my wife and inlaws moaning to me, i didn't feel like going out on my birthday.
