Woke up this mornind g to mine stinking of fuel, dripping out of a hose at the bottem, just near a jublie clip. I hope that just needs tightening or guss what ill be doin thins weekend.

look in the boot at the top of the tank... bet its the breather pipe.... mine came off last week had a sore throat for days.

That was the same symptoms I had when it happend to me.

I had the same problem when I bought my mini as soon as I filled her up and it was the breather pipe, the wrong size had been fitted. The garage changed it and, apart from a small smell when I first get into the car, the smell soon disappears and all it well again but you must get it checked out as it can give you a stormer of a sore head....trust me!!

When i got my mini i had to dirve it a long way to get it home and the reek of petrol would have made you high, eventually found out that the nice guy who had my motort before me had tacked the breather from the tank to the bottom of the parcel shelf, so the fumes were just floatin' into the compartment!
