I feel this has been misunderstood a great deal.

This is not designed to replace a forum in any way at all!

This is designed to help people find other people in there area without giving out people's location, similar to how Tinder works.

Please before you judge, can you give the project a read through, if you then have issues and questions DO ask them!

I can then explain and inform you of things.

So is this a way of you making money?

If you run a club how come they are not all on it? As it still says you have no backers.

Is this some sort of idea that you hope you will be the next FB bloke and sell it for £xxxxxxxxxx ?

I get the idea, however I was in the same situation some time ago and with some posts on the internet at the side of the road I was on my way. You keep using tinder as a reference so you are planning it like a mini tinder lol hmmmm.

to be honest mate I am not in to the club thing as it always comes across a bit under hand, with money swaping hands with not a lot to show for it, why the blokes that run it have the nice cars....

Things like Tinder do so well because sex is a bit more popular than minis are apparently. I realise that's not Tinder's intended use but I imagine that's what a large percentage of the users are on it for.

 

A spur of the moment mini meet up or something similar isn't going to be quite as far reaching and you'd just never achieve many active members for it to be a success in my opinion.

This is not intended to make me any money. I have no intention to sell the idea.

I'm referencing Tinder to show people how the nearby feature works.

The club is only about 5 young guys like myself with not a great amount of money to fund it ourselves

Afraid I can't see it as a goer either. There just aren't enough Minis out there to justify a standalone app.

I think Spider has indicated something that would be useful a means of pulling all the new info you are interested in together in one place and maybe categorising it.

To broaden the appeal of The Mini tinder thing - how about a street racer style game that includes a virtual Mini?

Been suggested before, it doesn't really offer anything the front end for mobile web browsers doesn't - at least not to justify the effort.

Will it have a left or right sweep so I can decide which people to talk to based on what they might look like ?
