Update
This evening we walked down to the garage and this time dom drove the car out.
A problem i forgot to mention yesterday was that the accelerator pedal stays down when you press it :erm: so i reved it and it stayed down at 4000 rpm then un locked it with my foot.
Anyway back to this evening, we poured some new oil into the engine and secured the battery, which meant it ran nicely, just need to sort that accelerator pedal, oh and the rust!
The next job was to pump the tyres up but that was broken
We called it a night and decided to push the car back into the garage due to the fact that 2 blokes, 1 whose know for burgulary, gbh and other offences :fear: showed up at one of the garages opposite and started smashing it up, so i thought it be best to push the car back into the garage incase they might nick it if they knew it was running

Did you just pour oil in with the old stuff? Since its been sitting for a while you should of drained all the oil out and then changed the fillter as well.

there wasnt much oil in there so we jus poured it straight in.
all we wanted to do was hear it start, this week the correct procedures will be taken once the mechanic and body specilist comes and checks it out.
dom has gone to his second home at The Rose Pub in Canterbury and the car is tucked up in the garage. No more work to be done till Thursday.

Done my motor today , well i started the rust under lights!
I was doing the seem and saw a little trail of rust heading under the front headlamp, unscrewed the chrome ring and took light of and found lots of fun rust
Was a little p***ed of but im getting there, tomorrow i have to RUB down yet again and put the final filler bits on so everything is level.
Then its spraying time! Ive got the correct colour i think Henly Blue, JDP so the VIN plate says, it just dont look that right to me,
anyway ill let you know how it goes!
