TIME TO GET THE WAXOYL!

Saw Sir D in the garage today, sadly didnt think quickly enough to get some pictures, but my what a difference! All is sprayed up well and good, a bit of an orange peel effect but hey...and the added bonus of bugger all rust on the front! They've treated rust on both sides of the scuttle at no extra cost, and with any luck hell be ready to go tommorow afternoon.

My only concern was the fact they've parked him right up near a rear door to the garage...and the rain was coming in

Still - photos tommorow fingers crossed!

i was just going to say that repair bill seems a little bit pricey in places!! if u werent 3/4 the way across the country id offer to do the welding, both wings+front panel and making use of as much of the old stuff as is possible for so much less!! only down side is i cant paint shame!! that and the distance u are away!!

I have to say the colour match is hairline close to perfect - I cant honestly tell! They've treated all front area rust, so all the remains to go is touch up the sunframes and the dodgy bit in the roof (and a pair of new cv joints...again).

Absolutely....frikking fantastic!

Check this mini out, its one of the late press cars and the number plate is just a few digits out from yours......
